Pumpkin Patch

Mommy took me to the pumpkin patch last week. A lot of my friends were going to come but it was raining so it was just me, Leah, Elizabeth, and Jonathan. Jonathan isn't walking much so he used the pumpkins to hold on to while Leah, Elizabeth, and I ran around with the little pumpkins. I also saw lots of cool characters, some horses, a big turtle, and pigs!! Then I slipped in the mud so mommy took me home.
I don't like my costume so mommy was nice and didn't make me wear it while we were there.

Boo Quack!!

We are having a jack o'lantern show at my school so mommy and I made a pumpkin to take. I love ducks so mommy decided to paint a pumpkin yellow and give it eyes, a beak, and some flippers! So here is my wonderful Duck Pumpkin!! Stay tuned for more fun halloween pictures!!

Texas A&M v Army!!

This past weekend mommy and daddy took me to my very first college football game. Mommy's team played daddy's team. I don't know much about football but they said it was a very good game and although mommy's team won they had to fight very hard to stay ahead. They played at mommy's old school so after the game mommy showed us around. We got to see where mommy went to class and where she lived on campus. She also took us to a very big, very old tree. Mommy and daddy walked under the tree holding hands because Mommy said that the story says whatever boy you walk under the tree holding hands with you marry. Daddy was the first boy mommy ever held hands with walking under the tree so I guess they will get married now..HE HE We also saw a boy ask a girl to marry him under the tree. I guess she said yes because then they were all kissy face!! YUCK!! I just wanted to climb the tree!!
After we got to see some of mommy's friends from school. They were nice and had lots of grapes and then a nice man took me for a ride in his golf cart.
After a long day I slept the whole way home. Mommy and Daddy were very tired too but we all had a great day!!
Mommy said she forgot the camera so had to buy a throw-away one so pictures won't be up for awhile.

Seattle

Mommy, Daddy and I went to Seattle two weeks ago to visit my cousins, aunts, and uncles. We had lots of fun. We went on Uncle Tim's boat where daddy jumped in the cold water and tried to walk on the water with a wooden shoe and I took a nap on mommy's lap.

Daddy had to leave early to go to work. Mommy and I went to a fair with Aunt Wendy and my cousins. Then mommy took me to see big fish and lots of boats and to a beach.

Aunt Wendy took lots of pictures of me with all my cousins so that Nonna and Poppy would have pictures of us. It was hard to say goodbye. I'll miss my cousins!!

18 Months!!

On July 2nd I turned 1.5 years old!! I'm excited to turn 2 in just 6 months but Mommy is sad and wants me to stop getting older. Today Mommy took me to see my doctor whom I don't like because they always give me shots :-( But Mommy says that I won't have to get any more shots until I'm 4 years old!! YEAH!!! When I was 15 months old the doctor told me that I was below 5th% in height and only 5% in weight. Well today they measured and weighed me and I'm 10th% in height and 7th% in weight!! Mommy is happy because she wants me to be at least as tall as Daddy. I guess all that milk I've been drinking is helping my bones grow big and strong.

The doctor said I was doing just fine and laughed when he put me on the ground to walk to Mommy and instead I ran to her. I'm glad that I won't have to see him again until next year.

Baby Bess

Mommy and Daddy brought Baby Bess home last week. Mommy says she's still a baby but she doesn't look like a baby to me. She's as tall as Ace and weighs almost 71 lbs!!! I'm glad to have her back because she's my buddy and Niles is VERY happy because now he has someone to gnaw on besides Daddy.

4th of July in Michigan

Mommy and Daddy took me on a big airplane all the way to Michigan for the 4th of July. We got to see Great Grandma Tina, Grandma, Papa, Uncle Jason, Aunt Lisa, my cousins Elise and Ryan, Great Grandma and Grandpa Heal, and Great Uncle Sid. We saw a big parade and fireworks over the big lake!! I also go to play a lot outside because the weather was not as hot as home and there was no dog poop in the grass :-) We also celebrated mommy's birthday (she's 16) and my cousin Ryan's birthday (he's 5) while we were there so I got cake and pie!! Papa showed me the pheasants he had in a big cage and the big pond on his land. I met my Great Uncle Sid who rode his bike all the way from California to Michigan. They all say he's a little crazy but I thought he was fun! I was so tired from our trip that I slept for the entire plane ride home.
